Forecast the Facts and Environmental Action Ask CNBC to Report Climate Science

After a Media Matters study, Forecast the Facts and Environmental Action partnered to deliver a petition with over 45,000 signatures to CNBC, asking the network to improve its climate reporting.

In the first half of 2013, a little more than half of CNBC's climate change coverage cast doubt on the consensus position that it exists and is manmade.

Forecast the Facts and Environmental Action responded with a petition telling CNBC Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Hoffman that his station's rampant global warming denial is bad for business.

In August, CNBC unveiled a special week of climate change programming on Worldwide Exchange, which airs at 4 AM ET. However, CNBC's climate change reporting failed to improve after the initial report.
